The city of angels, Los Angeles,
California, requires the utmost scrutiny before hiring
an employee or placing a tenant. LA and its many
surrounding communities such as Redondo Beach, Santa
Monica, the San Fernando Valley and Pasadena have a
pretty mixed applicant pool to choose from when renting
out your home or filling an opening in employment.
Within this applicant pool there is at least a single
digit percentage (if not more) with questionable personal and financial
histories. As a consequence, we don't recommend accepting any applicant without
verifying their identity and running a criminal background check and even a
credit check when entering into a lease agreement.
Your selection should be at least partially based upon
hard factual data, not just hunches and gut feelings.
